Join our team and help make an impact in your community today!Shift Openings:Friday-Sunday 4:30pm-12:30am (Part Time)Shift Differentials:Extra $1.50/hr. after 7:00pm weekdaysExtra $2.00/hr. on 1st shift weekendExtra $3.50/hr. on 2nd shift weekend24 Days PTO! - Use it, Cash it, Roll it overPotential Company BonusesTuition Reimbursement401k Retirement PlanHealth Insurance (Medical, Vision, and Dental)Healthcare and Dependent Care FSAShort and Long-Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Basic Life InsurancePosition OverviewResponsible for the transportation of blood and blood components from The Blood Connection to transfusion facilities.Responsible for delivery of raw materials from satellite centers and mobile collection sites.Good customer service skills are required in order to maintain necessary relationships with the transfusion facilities serviced by The Blood Connection.Essential Functions Driver Supported Tasks:Ensures that all orders are delivered in a timely mannerCoordinates and drives routes and pickups to ensure timely processing and deliveryAccurately completes all paperwork or electronic documentation as requiredGeneral Work Practices:Practices good customer service relations with co-workers, clients and the general publicMaintains a clean and orderly work areaDrives company vehicles in a safe mannerProduces accurate, precise, and legible documentation at each level of the manufacturing and distribution processMiscellaneous:Other duties as assigned or requiredMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDPrior experience in a similar/related job preferredValid Driver's License with no major infractions and dependable transportationAcceptable level of competence with standard operating protocols used in the department and throughout the blood center in generalGood knowledge of operating Smart devicesExcellent customer services skillsAbility to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to follow SOP in a heavily FDA regulated environmentAbility to communicate effectively, tactfully, and courteously to patrons, donors, sponsors, and co-workersAbility to work with all levels and in a diverse work environmentAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and peersPhysical Demands:Lifting and/or pulling/pushing up to 50 poundsSitting for an extended periodBending and twistingEqual Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled
